Roll a paperstrip from one or both ends. Roll in the same or the opposite direction. Alternatively glue several open coils together.  | 1. Single loose coil/scroll
Roll a part of a strip and alternatively use it with a straight end or bend it a little bit. | 2. V-shape
Fold a strip in half and roll both ends out. | 3. Closed V-shape/feelers
Same as no.2, but now glue the straight ends of the strip together so the spirals end up next to eachother. |  | 4. Open heart/heart scroll
Fold a strip in half and roll both ends in. | 5. Closed heart/heart scroll
Same as no. 4, but now glue the spirals together. | 6. C-scroll
Roll both ends of the strip in the same direction towards the center. Leave it straight or bend it a bit. |  | 7. S-shape/S-scroll
Roll both ends of a strip in opposite directions towards the center. | 8. Double tendril/scroll
Fold a strip off-centre and roll both ends in the same direction. If desired glue together in the middle and bend a little bit. | 9. Opposite tendril/scroll
Same as no. 8, but now roll both ends inwards. |
